Description

Samak rice dosa or farali dosa is an easy and low calories food during fasting. Barnyard millet or Samak rice is allowed to consume during Navratri fasting days. Samak rice dosa is made with Samak rice and sabudana also known as vrat ka dosa. This is a gluten-free, crispy, thin and healthy dosa which requires no fermentation.

Ingredients
    Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup Sama Rice / Bhagar Millet
  • 1/4 cup Sago / Sabudana
  • Water (As Required for soaking & Washing)
  • Rock Salt (As per Taste)
  • 5 grams Green Chills
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
Instructions
    Washing & Soaking
  1. Wash & Rinse both Sama rice & sago thoroughly. 

  2. Soak both Sama rice & sago for about 2-3 hours in water.

  3. After 2-3 hours grind Sama rice and sago with some green chilis & cumin seeds in mixer grinder into fine paste.

  4. Add rock salt as per your taste & mix it well.

  5. In hot pan grease some ghee or oil & pour prepared batter in circular way like dosa.

  6. Sprinkle some oil on top & cook for 1 min & then take out & serve hot.
